My Biography
My name is Derrell. I am a nice boy. I like to play basketball all the time because it's my favorite sport. I am a funny and outgoing kid. My favorite food is pizza and my favorite pastry is cake. The school I go to is M.S. 180. I am about 5 feet 6 inches tall and I am 14 years old. I have one older sister. My favorite color is blue. I wanted to be a successful basketball player like Lebron James. I am special because I am always there for my friends and I make people laugh. I inspire kids to be good in school and to get good grades so they can get into a good college. The adjectives that describe me are funny, being a good person and helping others. I used to be a bad person in public school but when I heard they were going to put me in a bad class, I shaped up really fast because I wanted the best for myself and my future. I overcame being a bully because I used to pick on little kids and that was not cool to pick on people smaller than me so I stopped. In the fifth grade I became a quiet boy. And then I went to six grade.
I used to live in Brooklyn and when I moved, I felt like I had lost all my friends but I became used to it and I go to Brooklyn to visit my friends. I was happy again and I made new friends in the Bronx. I went to a new school. It was cool. I had made a new best friend called Zhala Davenport. We were always in the hallway flirting with girls and then we graduated so everything changed again. I had to make another best friend. My new friend was Sherard Miller. We were in the same class for two years straight. We even hanged out after school every day. When I thought I was not going to have any friends I was wrong. I made so many friends in the Bronx, it just took me some time to make them. Another thing about myself is that I like to fish at Central Park on 110 street. It took me about two weeks to catch a 'sunny' because I had the bread wrong on the hook. I like to fish in my free time because it’s a quiet sport.
