Under the Tarp
It was a rainy day we had just began our backpacking, hiking, and primitive camp site part of the trip after a long two days of canoeing. It was thundering pretty hard it was pitch black outside and the rain drops sounded like rocks being thrown against a wall. The lighting was sort of white and we could actually see it through the tarp .it was dinner time so we put out a few thermal rests under the tarp and we all just sat there well we sort of didn’t have enough space so we all just laid all over each other. At first it was sort of uncomfortable but then we moved around a bit. Makayla was under everyone the only parts of her body that weren’t under someone was her head and her feet. Then Roy, Makayla, and Amanda started to sing and we all sat there and listened to them and then we shared a few riddles. It was a really fun night because we all shared a really nice time together and at that moment of the trip we all sort of bounded. The tarp was a place where no one was left out we all had our laughs and screams; we had the chance to be ourselves and be carefree. That night we really had a chance to really see how everyone else really is and how much fun we can actually have all together. Lisa and Chrissie cooked Indian rice that night most people really liked it so they ate a few plates. So the entire time under the tarp we were all just relaxing bounding eating and having a great time.
