Rockclimbing

There were so many activities that we have experienced at this camp that its hard to just speak of them in general. But this activity would definitely rid your fears of heights, if you had any, and strengthen your friendship with others. Rock climbing. Sure anyone could just climb a rock. But howabout a ranging 30-40 feet tall rock? Step by step from each hole you can dig your grown claws into wasn’t the hardest part. And each breath you took would only claim your exhaustion from all you’ve been through. But once you got to the tip top you look down and all you think is “Wow…. that’s high!” The real hard part was getting down. You would have to make an L form with your body as the person holding you slowly brings you down.. Now having to do this, of course there are processes and procedures to take. First you’ll need the equipment. Straps to secure your body. There were sayings to help you put it on like “choke the alien” or “pick your nose”. (Ha-ha) You would need a person, of course, to hold you up from falling to your utter death. (Deep) and a rope. Everything we did we had to say when we were ready or when we were going to climb. When we were just learning how to make the different knots, once we got it down we would play jump rope with it. But every time you stepped on a rope you would have to kiss it since the rope has ‘feelings’ too. T.T Also, Chrisy had a class where she would model out our bookbags and water pouches. We called it Chrisy’s Corner. Then after she would model out the way you put the straps on.
