In Circles

When I hear the song “The Circle of Life” it reminds me of the trouble Makayla and I went through. We could never stop laughing when we were out there canoeing the first day. Everyone had to try to return to shore and control our own boats to get there. I was in the front (basically the engine) and Makayla was in the back. I kept on yelling left, left, left but then I would say “oops I meant right”. We ended up staying in the same area not going straight at all but in circles. We kept spinning and spinning and all we did was laugh. Well, Makayla and I got an F as the “grade” for our canoeing experience and when we were heading back I got out of the boat accidentally and “drowned” with my life jacket. Even though we weren’t suppose to do half of the things we were doing we had the best time out there, I had an amazing time Makayla being my partner.
