Giants Ladder

Five wooden poles connected by two wires. Totally unstable, with no way for you to keep your balance. To climb to top is the ultimate goal. Thousands have tried. Many have failed. Few have attained their goal. This is the destiny of those who choose to scale the swinging, unstable ladder of failure. DAY 4: the group of children on the New Jersey 2 trip are unexpectedly going to scale this wannabe mountain. There names are: queen gnome, plump princess, pyro, frizz head, captain commando, prodigy, trip queen, fat preacher, bug boy, scare bear, gothakid 101 and Lil’ Mama. The first group to fail were Lil’ Mama and Gothakid 101. Together they worked for three poles. On the fourth only Lil’ Mama could conquer. Their team effort was crushed by the fourth pole. Queen of the gnomes and the plump princess were up next, but before they could even begin, the plump princess backed out, thus disqualifying herself. However, being the nice hero that he was, Pyrocame and offered to give he fair short queen a hand. Together, shortness and fire managed to scale all the way to the top. At the fourth pole, Pyro offered his body as a stepping stool to get the fair royalty of little height onto the top. For she was a short little girl she could not help Pyro get up. Pyro had to help himself get on the last log and that is how the pair got to the top. Prodigy and Scare Bear were up next. They scaled the ladder up the third step, but time was running against them. As Scare Bear made it to the fourth pole, time ran out. The end of their scale came from their lack of time. Captain Commando and Pyro went up next. Winded from the previous climb and needing the rest he needed, Pyro could only climb up two poles then collapsed. Our hero lost consciouness because of the gnome queens unreliability. However, the gods did not penalize Captain Commando beause of our hero’s state. They let him choose another partner. Thus, Frizz Head saw her opportunity to prove her skills. She volunteered to take the job with Captain Commando. Just like Prodigy and Scare Bear, the dynamic duo made it to the third pole and was about to climb the fourth one when time ran out. The dream team were defeated by time. If only they had more time. But alas, they did not and were smitten by there tie wasted. The time for the competion was over. The Fat Preacher and Bug Boy were saved from the wrath of the Giant’s Ladder.
