Salad Bowl

Salad Bowl is a game that can be played with 4 or more people. Salad Bowl is played in groups of 2 or more people. To play Salad Bowl you need some sort of container, 5 pieces of paper per person, a pen or pencil and a timer. The game is played in three rounds. The game begins with everyone taking 5 pieces of paper and writing the name of any person they wish. The only thing is, that the person has to be known by everyone. The person can be anyone from a cartoon character to a movie star. Everyone must fold the pieces of paper and put it into the container. The container is then shook. The first round begins with the first person of the first group. That person is to then pick a random piece of paper from the container. That person has to then turn to their group and give the group clues to who the person on the paper is. Take heed that the other people in the group have 2 minutes to guess who the mystery person is. As soon as the group guesses whom the mystery person is the person with the paper puts the paper to the side and picks up another paper. That group has in total only 2 minutes to guess as many people as possible. After the 2 minutes is up the container is given to the next group and the game continues until everyone in both groups has had a turn or the container has been emptied. At the end of this round the amount of pieces of paper each group has is counted. This number shall be the score for the first round. After counting and getting the score for each team all the papers are then returned to the container. The second round is the same as the first round except that in this round the person with the paper is only allowed to say one word. This person has to choose wisely. They are also allowed to pantomime. They still only have 2 minutes. As soon as the last person ends their turn proceed by doing the same as last round and begin round 3. Round 3 is the last round and in this round everything of the previous rounds apply except the person who has the paper can’t speak. At the end of this round you add up both teams’ scores for each round separately. The team with the largest score wins. The prize can be anything from a penny to a horse.
