On Tuesday July 15 we went white water rafting. I must say that was the most exciting part of the trip, because it includes wetting the participants and the facilitation team and most of all have fun whiles doing it. We took a cheese bus to the river. The river is known as the Aspen River, and that’s the river we will be going down. When we go there we unload the boat form the van’s and put them in the water, they split us up into groups so we all can fit in each boat. The instructors explain the basic rules of rafting and then we set off from there. Whiles going down the river we ran into some crazy rapids, crazy but fun, everyone was enjoying themselves and having fun. The facilitators had planned to wet us with super soakers along the way, but we also had plans for them too. As soon as they came close to our boats we all would come together and wet them, it was basically war against the facilitators and the participants which make it even more fun for us because we all was loving it. Riding the bull was part of the rafting; this is when you sit at the end of the boat and holding on a rope that will keep you up from falling into the water. Marcus was one of them who were riding the bull but I guess he wasn’t doing it the right way a big rapid came his way and hit the boat really hard “bang” and there goes Marcus in the water he fell and that water was freezing cold so you could imagine how he felt. It took them a while before they could get him out of water, but eventually they got him out. At a certain point of the water it began to get even colder, that happens because the river is connected to another river and that other is much colder than the river we were on. We were getting close to our destination so a couple of kids decided to swim to the end. When we got there we pack the boats together and went for lunch. Everyone enjoyed themselves while it last and they was no complains at all.
