Last Night at Campsite
The last night at marble, the campsite, was very memorable. All the participants gathered around the kitchen table and made plans to teepee our facilitator’s tents. One group of 5 boys were chosen to do the actual teepeeing. Everyone else was suppose to distract the facilitators by making a lot of noise in the middle of the field. This planed failed because as soon as everyone heard some noises, everyone ran from the field back to their teepees. After a few minutes, everyone gathered outside in the kitchen area again to work on plan B. The girls went to the back of the woods near the river while the boys continued teepeeing the facilitator’s tents. Suddenly we realized that the facilitators were out of their tents. All the girls scattered and started running through the bushes and branches. Many girls fell and got trampled over. We tried hiding, but it was too late because many of the facilitators caught us. The facilitator’s were soaking us with water guns. Many girls got away though. When the girls that were caught were brought back to the kitchen area, they realized that many of the boys were also caught. After a while everyone that was caught was sitting together and the ones that escaped came back. We all stood together as a team because we were in this prank together. There was a point were Inalen, a peer counselor, poured a jar of water on one of the facilitators. Before they let us go back to our teepees, they made sure they soaked all of us with water and didn’t stop surrounding our teepees until we were inside and asleep. The group of five boys that were chosen to teepee the tents successfully did it, but unfortunately the boys messed with the wrong tent. Tim, who didn’t know who tried flipping his tent, decided to wake up at two in the morning and unwrapped the green teams tent. This left them sleeping outside in the cold until the next morning. We all had fun in completing the prank, other than the boys who were in the green teams tent.
