Hello my name is Donette Newyear I’m 15 years old. I’m originally from Georgetown, Guyana. I moved to the United States when I was 4 and have been living in the Bronx since then. I’m currently a sophomore at the Bronx School of Law & Finance. I’m 5’ 7”, and I play golf for my school team. My favorite food is Curry Chicken, and my favorite color is pink.

When I grow up I would like to be a lawyer, and ultimately open a really big law firm. I think what makes me special is that I’m a very kind person, who loves to cheer up others with my perky personality. I also forgive people very easily. I think that I make a huge impact on the people around me, because I’m very supportive and I encourage people to try to help our environment by keeping it clean. I also encourage people to join CampInteractive so that they can experience the positive impact CampInteractive has had on my life. I’m best describe me as brave, cheerful, and confident, determined, energetic, friendly, generous, grateful, and thoughtful. I think in everyday life I use all these qualities. Moving to the United States has changed my life by introducing me to CI. Joining CI has had a major impact on my life and has helped me over come many obstacles in my life.
