My name given at birth was Raisa Natalie Cruz. Yes I have very unique
name and I love it because it goes with my personality. My parents, Rafael
and Isabel, gave me that name since it was a combination of their names.
I live with both parents and a younger sibling. Her name is Krizia and she is
ten years old. I am very grateful to have a younger sister so I know that I am
being looked up to as a role model even though sometimes it’s hard to put up
with her.

I am fifteen years old turning sixteen on November 18 which makes me a
Scorpio. They say Scorpios are feisty, fierce people that want everything their
way or no way. That is probably why I am such a determined person. I am a
very bubbly and outgoing person and always make people smile. I make the
most obnoxious faces, but I know my limits. There is a time to be funny and
a time to be serious. There is never a dull moment when I’m around.
I am currently attending Cardinal Spellman High School. I’m going to be a junior next year which is not very exciting since this year is going to be a challenge. When it comes to school, I’m mostly devoted, but my goal this year is to be first honors. I am a second honors student and I am determined to reach my goal by the end of this school year. Hopefully I will be able to accomplish it.
My hobbies include chatting on the computer, talking on the phone, dancing, and playing softball. This year I played for my school and we came third in our division. My friends and family mean the world to me especially my cousins Rebecca, Christine, and Annabelle and my best friends Lauren, Michelle, and Jen. These girls have been there for me through everything and I don’t know where I would be or do without them. I love the color green and I’m an animal lover especially when it comes to dogs. Unfortunately I don’t own any at the moment, but I’m still in the process of convincing my parents in getting me one.
I learned about CampInteractive through SYEP, Summer Youth Employment Program. I was fascinated about the kind of trips and activities they had during the summer and at that point I knew I had to work there. When I got the job I was excited, but I had no idea that this summer I was going to experience so many things. A life-changing experience I was able to have was going rock climbing during my camping trip to New Jersey. The hard part was not climbing the mountain, instead it was repelling, or going back down. When I was up there I saw how high I was, about fifty feet, and I also saw the beautiful view. Unfortunately I wasn't paying attention to the scenery, instead I had an emotional breakdown because I was scared of heights. When I got down, all by myself with the support of my teammates, I felt a feeling of accomplishment and I was proud of the fact I did it and didn’t back out.
I would say my biggest fear in life is dying without getting all my goals in life accomplished. Some of those goals include sky diving and traveling around the world. When I grow up I would like to be an accountant, or CPA. I love math; It’s my favorite subject in school and I’m good at it.
