The Opening Banquet- We had some time to interact with each other on our own accord and what better way to break the ice with people than to dance with them. We ate pesto chicken, corn bread, pasta with alfredo sauce, and salad, all of which was quite tasty. We also celebrated Jordan's birthday which was on the same day, what a lovely coincidence it was.
Anthony: "I was happy to see new faces."
Donette: "It was cool because I got to know new people."
Steven: "I already had an idea of what was going to happen during the opening banquet. I was blown away by the facilitators' performance."
Jordan: "It was my BIRTHDAY!!! Go Jordan It's my BIRTHDAY!!"
Inalen: "Uhmmm, (smacks lips) the opening banquet was cool because we got to know the other participants better and some of the facilitators."
Kyron: "One of the best parties I have been to."
Zamira: "I did not know anybody, but I got to know people and still had a great time."
Zach: "It was cool that no matter your style of dancing or fashion your were accepted."
Melody: "I was new to Aspen but after the fun-filled Opening Banquet it seemed like it didn't matter if someone was or not."
