Host Families- We stayed with local families that donate their homes each year to the youth and their leaders. The host family gave us a very warm welcome that made us feel as though we were part of their family. Each host family had different things to offer. After our first night's stay we argued whose host home was better. During the trip, the families became second families to us that we will cherish for as long as we live.

Anthony: "My host family treated me as though I were one of their children."
Steven: "My host family was everything I could have asked for and more. My stay with the Freedman's in Aspen was the cherry on top of a great trip, and for that I want to say THANK YOU"
Donette: "We didn't really get to see our host family but was really nice that they opened their homes to us."
Zamira: "I really bonded with my host family; she (the mother) treated me very nicely."
Zach: "It was great. They left on vacation halfway through so the mayor was our host."
Melody: "When I first thought of a stereotypical host family, I felt bad because the family I had proved that wrong."
