The Closing Banquet- The closing banquet was the last night that we were all together so emotions were starting to run high. We enjoyed good food, a great slide show, and a last dance with a cool DJ. After all the fun, we had an activity where we acknowledged the people that had helped us throughout the program with our eyes. It was a great end to a great experience.
Donette: "It was superdupercalerificaspealidocious! It was really nice because we got to spend a few more hours with the people that we really got to know over the last few days."
Kyron: "That's what's up."
Geneva: "It was very sad to say goodbye to everybody."
Steven: "The closing banquet was sad. It was also very exciting because even though it was our last night, I knew that we were all leaving there with friends that we will have for life."
Zamira: "It was very sad, because I did not want to leave and go home; I really bonded with the people there."
Zach: "I crumped one last time and then the sad farewells were abundant."
Melody: "During the closing banquet I was able to let loose for the last night. I got to cry to the people that helped me so much, it felt good to know that I was appreciated by so many people."
