When we had arrived in Verplank we were given an assignment to do. We had to complete an interview and analysis, so to speak of the term. The group was split into smaller groups and were given different task. Group 1 task was to draw a map of verplank and to give general location of the place. Another was to interview the people of verplank , ask about Indian Point and how it affected their lives. Another theme was to focused on how did people feel about Indian point, whether they were antagonistic or protagonistic. The final group did a video based on the town.( Put a clip of the video in from verplank)

We soon discovered that the town was massive and spread apart and quite boring because things was too far apart. Basically you needed a car to go anywhere. We also found out that these people were happy with Indian pt. and liked having it nearby because it employed so many people

Before we departed we met Craig Michael from River Keeper and he discussed river issues with us.
