This was the first day of our trip. Everyone was excited and ready to go. Before leaving we had to pack everything up at the marina. Unfortunately we had to row all the way, and, believe us, it wasn't easy.

Our first stop was straight across the river from Dyckman's Marina. There we had lunch and had to take a swimming test. This test was necessary to see how comfortable everyone was with the water. Our instructors also taught us the basic skills of anchoring.
