The decision that was made about staying at Alpine came to a bust. As we came across Alpine we happened to come across "Clear Water". We anchored a couple of miles from Alpine and decided to take a dip. The anchor was set by Matthew from Onrust. The water was 18 feet deep. Everyone had to come in the water with their life jacket because it was pretty deep and the flood was running in the opposite direction. About two hours later everyone boarded Onrust where the instructors told us that we had a couple of options about where we could sleep that night. The first option was to go to stypen duyvil and sleep at a Columbia's floating dock. In the morning we would go to Dickmen marine and end the course there. The other option was go to stypen Duyvil dock there until the storm was over and the ebb started again. We would then row to Chelsea piers, sleep there in the morning and end the course there. The decision that we came with was that we were going to go stypen duyvil. We probably came up that decision because all of us where tired of rowing and we just wanted to go home.
So off we were to Stypen duyvil were, we motored to the bridge which open and closes ever half hour. When we found out that the floating dock at Columbia was not there anymore, apparently it was removed while we was on the river. So the instructors had another meeting. After the meeting the decision was to go to motored to Chelsea piers that night then we were going to row to south street sea port. That was going to be our true "final".
That night was our last night together for the summer of '02 camp interactive sailing experience. That night we had our final anchor meeting. In this special anchor meeting we went to a park a couple of blocks away from the boats. In this meeting we had to present two beads to a certain person. The first bead represents the thing that they was great at. The second bead represents something that they could work on. After that we had the decision to take a pin or not. Most people took pins some didn't. Most people in the group felt that everyone in the group deserve that pin, but that it was people personal decision.

After the meeting we went back to the boat because we had to wake up early the following morning and say our final goodbyes.
